The Women’s Council of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center Foundation is a group of dynamic women who are passionate about improving their health and the health of other women in the community through education and support of critical Novant Health initiatives.
Formed in 2009, this group of passionate women has donated a total of $525,000. A critical supporter of the Novant Health Maya Angelou Women’s Health & Wellness Center at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, the Women’s Council most recently provided funding for the following:
- Forsyth Connects.
- A Licensed Clinical Social Worker for Today’s Woman.
- Medication and transportation expenses for women with gynecologic cancers.
What does membership involve? Members of the Women’s Council can choose their level of involvement. Your membership includes: three educational meetings a year, one vote on annual philanthropy proposals, an invitation to the Garden Party, and the opportunity to network with other women who are passionate about women’s health.
Annual dues at only $100.
