Respite rooms are one way we can help take care of those who take such good care of us.

With respect to the current challenges facing healthcare today, and in lieu of an event this year, gifts through the 2021 Patron’s Ball fundraiser will support our healthcare heroes by providing new respite rooms in the hospital.

Hospitals and healthcare systems know better now than ever before how stressful it can be working in a clinical setting. We can’t take away healthcare emergencies or how stressful this essential work can be, but with your help, we can focus on the importance of wellness tools for healthcare providers.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 for this dedicated space to support team members’ mental and physical well-being.

Your gifts will provide 4 respite rooms within the hospital for Rowan Medical Center team members to rest a few minutes and replenish their energy to be their best in providing remarkable care for our patients.

By prioritizing our clinical team members and encouraging them to take a break every shift, creating these peaceful and tranquil spaces will give them a place where they can process their emotions on even the most difficult days.

Contributions support our ongoing efforts to care for those who care for us, by showing gratitude through appreciative gestures like providing breakfast and ice cream to help brighten team members’ days through the tough times and the tougher times.

Providing these rooms is a way to say “Thank you” to those taking care of us, our loved ones and or neighbors by understanding and supporting their health and well-being.
