Donor recognition opportunities for the Center for Health & Wellness

Diabetes education

Cornerstone of diabetes management, because diabetes requires day-to-day knowledge of nutrition, exercise, monitoring and medication.

Classroom – $25,000

  • Personal learning environment to provide nutritional counseling.

  • A place to empower individuals to manage their diabetes journey.

  • Room to teach, coach and guide patients on how diabetes affects their lives.

  • An area for patients to set goals and achieve them while feeling supported.

Outpatient rehab

Medical facility that provides outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and restorative services for the rehabilitation of injury, disability, or illness. Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility (CORF) care is commonly known as outpatient rehabilitation care. CORFs must provide medical care, therapy and certain social or psychological services.

Occupation therapy – $25,000

  • Will help patients prevent and overcome many physical, emotional, and social disabilities.
  • Provides assessment and intervention to develop, recover, and maintain activities and occupations.
  • Prevents disability and maintains health.
  • Improves and maintains the quality of life.
Behavioral health

Recovering from mental health challenges is a multifaceted process and group therapy is one of its cornerstones. By breaking free from isolation, you can acquire a fresh perspective on mental health that will shape your understanding of both others’ and your own, setting the stage for an integrated recovery founded on both professional and peer support.

Group therapy room – $15,000

  • Provides interaction with psychiatrists, therapists and nurses to develop skills to manage symptoms.
  • Enables patients with similar difficulties to interact with each other.
  • Provides patients a place to build a support network and sounding board.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression. TMS is typically used when other treatments for depression have not been effective.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation room – $15,000

  • Provides comprehensive acute and ongoing treatment.
  • Decreases symptoms of depression and improves mood for those with treatment-resistant depression.
  • Sets goals to overcome low motivation and energy.
