The Women’s Council presents
Here Comes the Sun
You can bring sunshine and good health into the homes of new families this year. Please join us to ensure new mothers don’t feel isolated and alone. Your help is needed more than ever so Family Connects Nurses can continue to support moms and babies in our region.
Through Family Connects, 2,000 families a year are offered guidance and advice so their babies have a healthy start to life.
Hats, if you please!

Many thanks to our Benefactor sponsors Reynolds American and Hayworth-Miller Funeral Homes, and to everyone for purchasing tables, tickets and donating items. Special thanks to chair Leigh Ann Janjua and the committee.
The Garden Party, originally scheduled for March 20, 2020, is being rescheduled to June 19, 2020. This event is our signature fundraising event, and we have made the decision to move forward in a digital format by using Zoom. All proceeds will support Family Connects, a program which supports hundreds of new mothers and their babies every year. Registered nurses make home visits to new mothers in Forsyth and Davidson counties, connecting families with countless community resources.
Anyone who bought a ticket or sponsored a table will receive a Zoom link.
- Individual tickets are still available for $75.
- Silent auction items and mystery bags will be available on OneCause starting on June 13. Registration info will be forthcoming.
- The committee will select one raffle item to be drawn on June 19.
