We are excited to share all of the operational updates taking place at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital. The murals on the walls of the Hemby unit are complete, and, thanks to the support of one of our families, we were able to provide our team with a respite room on our pediatric floor.
Novant Health Children’s Trust program empowers kids like Lexi
One of Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Foundation’s top funding priorities is pediatric initiatives, so in January 2019 we launched a new annual giving program, the Children’s Trust. Under this program, we rely on what we call “Superhero donors” to spark change for so many children in need.

As I look back on the ways COVID-19 has impacted our pediatric population, I am inspired by the way our teams worked together to ensure parents had access to their children inside our walls, behavioral health needs were met and wellness visits remained safe, as they are vital to the health of our children.
Our team members have never lost sight of the future, a time when the coronavirus no longer monopolizes global healthcare communities. And throughout this year, we’ve continued advancing new initiatives that will bring even more remarkable care to our community.
