A generous grant, courtesy of a late Wilmington philanthropist, supports the fight against late-stage breast cancer diagnosis

This summer, the Breast Imaging Center at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center (NHMBC) will start to see reduced wait times between appointments for diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds and biopsies, thanks to a generous grant from a late Wilmington philanthropist.

Brunswick Sheriff’s Charitable Foundation awards grant for “A Path Forward”

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center Foundation received an $8,000 grant from the Brunswick Sheriff’s Charitable Foundation to help fund the “A Path Forward” program. This program will serve residents of Brunswick County by expanding and improving behavioral health care and addiction treatment services.

Volunteers raise over $18K in 2017

Last year, Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center experienced outstanding results in healthcare, and we owe our heartfelt thanks to nearly 250 volunteers, including junior volunteers, home volunteers and chaplains who shared their time, money and talents. Their contributions were responsible for so many positive healthcare experiences.

Komen NCTC awards Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center Foundation $19K grant

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center Foundation received a $19,000 grant from Susan G. Komen® North Carolina Triangle to the Coast (Komen NCTC), distributed through its Community Health Grants Program and National Treatment Assistance Program. 

Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center Foundation awarded $500 grant

The International Paper Foundation’s goal is to put a new book in the hands of every newborn baby born at Brunswick Medical Center.

Remembering Angie Fisher: The Angela M. Fisher Memorial Education Fund

Created by the Board of Directors in memory of the Medical Center’s beloved Chief Nursing Officer, Angie Fisher, this fund provides continuing education for team members.
